CHA CHING… IS MONEY ALL WE WANT FROM A JOB OR ARE WE LOOKING SOMETHING MORE??
    posted Thursday, May 15, 2008 11:33 AM

Everyone is different… some people are driven by the money… some people are driven by a cause…some people have a talent that makes them money … some people are enthused about what they do and some people long to be doing something different.  No matter what your job title is or what you do for a living your state of mind and attitude on the job can go a long way and take you where you really want to go in life.

I know for myself… money isn’t what keeps me on the job.   I am truly the bleeding heart type and enjoy that I am in a job where I get to help people.  Good thing I ended up in the people business.   THE KIMCO EXPERIENCE is what keeps me going on the job, along with my positive attitude.  At Kimco Staffing Services I have an opportunity to grow professionally, I love the people I work with, I enjoy the flexibility Kimco has offered me, Kimco cares about the community, and Kimco is an ethical company.    Those are just some of the reasons I have been here over 9 years.

Only YOU can make a job come alive by your state of mind.  Enjoy the day for what it has to offer, no matter what you do for a living.  A job/career takes up a majority of our life… have an attitude of gratitude and be thankful for any job that you have.  There is something to be learned from them all.

Recruiting & Marketing to Hispanics - Think Outside the Box
    posted Thursday, May 15, 2008 9:53 AM
    by ,
The U.S. Hispanic demographic is not monolithic. When recruiting or marketing to Hispanics, the focus should not just be about language. It is also about culture.

U.S. Hispanics are incredibly diverse, hailing from more than two dozen countries--and that jumble of traditions and cultural quirks renders generalizations problematic.  Marketing and recruiting effectively to this demographic is more of a personal, one-on-one process that depends on building long-term relationships, friendships, and trust with members of the community.

Below are critical points to remember when developing a marketing and recruiting plan for this complex and diverse community.

    1. Demographic

    2. Experience

    3. Need

    4. Trust

    5. Outreach

    6. Hispanic Media

    7. Measure of Success

To acquire a full description of each key point, please visit the rest of the article by clicking here at: Recruiting and Marketing to Hispanics.
