Goodwill of Orange County is much more than the sum of our thrift stores and donation centers. We offer job training, placement, and the tools to achieve individual success to people with disabilities and other barriers. But the most critical thing we offer is opportunity. The people we work with don't want charity, they want a chance to succeed. And they pursue success the same way we all do. By doing their best. Working with total dedication. And always trying to do better.
Goodwill Industries of Orange County was established in 1924 as a small venture and has become a major enterprise based on cultivating the creative potential in every person. Today, Goodwill Industries of Orange County is a nationally recognized leader in empowering people to become self-sufficient. Yet, with the shift away from government funding, finding valuable resources and financial support for programs is still one of our biggest challenges. We look towards a stronger collaboration with the people and businesses of our community to establish the support we need for pursuing and fulfilling our mission. With a professional staff of highly motivated and dedicated people, we have developed education, training, and employment services that utilize state-of-the-art technology. And we focus on the growth of individuals by assisting them with their work and social skills, cultural and language differences and aiding their access to a community that will allow them to enter the workplace and enhance their self-respect and dignity.

Goodwill Industries of Orange County envisions a world where all individuals with disabilities and other barriers will have the opportunity to participate in a full range of life's experiences, including competitive employment. In support of this vision, we will maintain leadership in creating and providing quality education, training, and employment services to empower individuals to be productive and independent, based on their abilities and interests.
