About Us
Trinity Youth Services (Trinity YS) believes in the limitless potential of every child. Since our founding forty years ago, Trinity has encouraged tens of thousands of abused and neglected children to unlock their potential. Our unique and committed approach, relying on services like Group Centered Leadership and around-the-clock foster parent support, helps each child turn problems into promise.
Trinity Youth Services, offers a safe haven – a structured environment, therapy and treatment programs, placement in specialized education programs and tutoring – to children and teens that, due to severe abuse, neglect or other critical issues, no longer live with their families. We provide a wide array of services, including residential treatment, foster care, education (contracted through Advanced Education Services,) and consulting. Trinity's comprehensive programs encourage these children, who have already confronted so many obstacles, to access and develop their personal strength and resources to successfully face the challenges ahead.
Trinity and AES recognize and celebrate the power of possibility in each of the children and families in our care. We – our staff, foster parents and community of dedicated supporters – are working together to help each Trinity child harness that limitless power. Help us Break the Cycle by volunteering, donating, or becoming a foster parent today and enable the children of Trinity to Embrace the Future.

History
In 1965, a group of Greek Orthodox priests and laity in the Los Angeles area, saw the ever-increasing suffering of children, particularly young boys, who were slipping through the cracks of the social services system. In 1966, this group renovated the former home of Hollywood silent film star Gloria Swanson in Yucaipa, California and opened the Guadalupe Home for Boys to six troubled boys.
Today, Trinity operates six residential campuses, and eleven foster care offices in California, Nevada and Texas, and works in conjunction with nine schools operated by AES. Trinity Youth Services and AES serve more than one thousand children on a daily basis, and have helped tens of thousands of children of every ethnicity and religion since we opened that one small home in Yucaipa.
The hard work of our dedicated staff of approximately 1100 social workers, administrative and development personnel, therapists, and AES educators, as well as the generosity and aid from thousands of volunteers and donors has made the Trinity family of organizations a leader in the children’s services arena.
