Jobing Description

The IT Team Manager will be responsible for leading IT development team to deliver multiple system development projects around Oracle, Java and Datastage (ETL) technologies. Involves communication with other IT teams, business partners, project managers and quality assurance teams. Responsible for leading team to deliver application roadmap strategy for IT systems. Coordinate with project manager, cross application team and development team on project planning and execution activities. Guiding the development team members as needed to ensure project deliverables are on time. Need to ensure proper SDLC standards are followed throughout the project lifecycle and also need to ensure proper documentation is completed throughout all project phases. Responsible for budget, estimation and forecast for projects impacting the applications.


Responsibilities:

Manage a large development team of responsible for the delivering projects around key financial applications.

Provide leadership and subject matter expertise for system and/or business expansion initiatives

Collaborate with other IT organizations to keep them aligned with project status and priorities.

Ensure continuous quality improvement and managing change control processes

Identifying enabling technologies to improve operational effectiveness and costs savings

Identifies staff development and training needs and ensures that training is obtained

Follows standard development methodology in project delivery

Develop, establish and follow a work priority plan to ensure that workload obligations are fulfilled

Provides forecast, budget, estimation for the department

Provides technology guidance to development team members

Skills / Requirements

Bachelor degree in Business, IT or equivalent experience, advanced degree preferred

7 + years of application development, testing and business analysis experience, specifically related to system integration and driving business solutions.

5 + years of experience leading IT development teams (offshore , onshore)

5+ years of experience in Oracle database technology to design and develop IT systems

3+ years experience in Java/ETL technology

Optional:

Healthcare industry experiences is preferred

Oracle ERP (Financial's ) experiences is preferred

System Architecture experience is preferred
