Job Title: SAP Security Engineer
Job Ref#: NB60430245EA Typical Responsibilities: The successful candidate will support Center for Continuous Improvement (CCI) Application Maintenance by designing and developing SAP security solutions to meet business process requirements and act as an SAP Security subject matter expert in role design during all phases of projects. Typical responsibilities will include: providing project team support and development, cross-functional integration, and consultation advice to facilitate proper use of SAP Security for all applications; managing the portfolio of ERP components and developing a roadmap to evolve integration with Identity Management (IdM) and Portal federation; designing and supporting governance activities to ensure compliance with application and enterprise architectures; leading technical and engineering teams to develop and maintain architecture and standards for application development, delivery, and deployment; developing and leading the implementation of application standards that have an operational and financial impact on the company; providing consultation advice and direction regarding SAP product architectures and standards to application developers, operations and project managers. Basic Qualifications:
Must have experience in SAP Security Authorizations, Role Configuration, Role Based Security, and Position Based Security. Core Competencies: - Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, System Analysis or Information Technology; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. - Typically possesses nine or more years of Information Technology experience with an emphasis on SAP Application Security. - Demonstrated experience with SAP Architecture, SAP Systems (ECC, BI, Portal, PI (XI), SRM, CRM) Security, Authentication, and Provisioning. - Demonstrated experience with different components/modules within SAP (FI/CO, HCM, DM/RM, PM, SEM, SD, MM, PP, IP, BCS). - Demonstrated experience with ALE, BEx Application Suite, SoD design options and monitoring tools, and Portal Federation architecture. - Demonstrated experience in a large enterprise environment using different computing platforms with proven experience in SAP Applications, components and architecture. - Demonstrated experience using SAP delivered tools such as SECATT and LSMW. - Demonstrated experience with application, process integration, orchestration and technology integration models, specifically configurations, standards and products related to n-tier, services, and component-based software development concepts. - Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects. - Demonstrated ability to apply logical security from business requirements, governance, and regulations to SAP Systems including ECC, BI, PI (XI), SRM, CRM, PLM, and the Netweaver Platform. - Demonstrated ability to lead or direct cross-functional technical and development teams to address and solve business issues and problems. - Demonstrated ability to transform business and informational flows into architectural layers and components; model applications, business transactions, and information flows in both static and dynamic models. - Demonstrated ability to mentor systems engineers, software engineers and solution architects of large infrastructure development, custom application development and package-based development projects regarding fit to architecture. - Must have excellent oral and written communication skills and customer focus, to understand and appropriately respond to clients business needs, and facilitate discussion and drive consensus towards a share common architectural vision/objective. - Must demonstrate excellent business mastery, including the ability to integrate work across relevant areas, develop the business and services to enhance customer satisfaction and productivity, manage risks and safety appropriately, develop and execute business plans, manage information, and provide exceptional service to internal and external customers. Comments: This is a full-time, project regular position for duration of up to 12 months. This position is eligible for company benefits and incentives during the duration of the assignment. Additional testing may be required as part of the selection process for this position. Preferences: Strong knowledge of IBM Tivoli Identity Management products and tools, Enterprise Application Integration tools, service oriented architecture and System Development Lifecycle (SDLC); knowledge of the SAP Netweaver Platform and components; knowledge of SAP ABAP; CISSP certification; and utility industry experience.
