NTMA Training Centers of Southern California, a private non-profit trust organization with 2 campuses in the Los Angeles on Inland Empire areas has an immediate opening for a highly motivated, results-oriented Placement Coordinator to work in our Ontario, CA campus.

Placement Responsibilities:

Identify potential employers who are seeking to hire entry-level machinists
Prepare flyers, mailers, handouts, etc. for delivery to Manufacturing companies
Cold/Warm Call Companies to qualify for Companies’ hiring needs
Visit Companies to deliver marketing materials and to further recruit companies to hire graduates for entry-level machinist positions
Submit resumes of graduates to open positions matching employers’ hiring needs
Prepare and Assist students & graduates in their job search
Preparation of students for placement into machinist positions
Evaluation and resolution of student and employer inquiries, issues, and problems
Maintaining student satisfaction and adherence to policy, procedures and legal requirements.
Teach career development and employer expectation subjects to classes
Setup and administer mock interviews with students
Work with students to develop resumes & interview skills
Other duties as assigned

Skills / Requirements

2 years experience in placement, recruiting or similar field
Exceptional customer service/sales skills
Excellent organizational skills
Manufacturing experience a plus
Ability to build and maintain relationships within the community
