If you would prefer to avoid the daily commute and work from home, this position may be for you! You would be responsible for handling live customer contacts for our Live Tax Advice program. Typical Deliverables would include accurate Live Tax Advice to TurboTax customers during tax season, documentation of customer contacts, and accurate and consistent application of billing procedures.

Knowledge & Background Experience

Extensive knowledge of tax laws.

In-depth understanding of tax concepts and processes desired

Experience using major tax preparation software; Experience with electronic filing a plus.

Experience as a tax preparer: preparing federal and state returns either individual (1040) or business (1120, 1120S, 1065, 1041, 990, 706)

Experience providing support in a technical PC environment a plus

Advanced experience providing support for tax products a plus

Experience writing FAQ or Knowledgebase entries

CPA and/or Enrolled Agent certification preferred.

Minimum High school diploma or GED required (2+ years of college preferred with focus on Accounting, Business or Finance)
