Job: Patrol Drivers & Security Officers - Palmdale/Lancaster Area!

Universal Protection Service is seeking Patrol Drivers & Security Officers for the Palmdale and Lancaster areas!

The successful candidate is responsible for providing security services at assigned locations. Duties include, but are not limited to;
• Vehicle patrol of exterior areas of assigned locations
• Observe and report suspicious activities and persons assist Bike Patrol officers with Vehicle Patrols if it rains and pick up & drop off broken/replacement bikes.
• Write detailed narrative reports and maintain daily activity reports (DARs)
• Enforce rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and respond to emergency situations requiring security assistance
• Must be able to use safe driving maneuvers and practice safe driving at ALL times!!!!!!!

Qualifications For Patrol Driver:

• Must be 25 years of age or older. (For Insurance Purposes)!
• Clean DMV for the Past Three (3) Years!
• Current Valid Drivers License!
• Valid Guard Permit or the ability to obtain one!
• Must Have a High School Diploma or a GED
• Pass a Drug and Background Check.

Security Officer:

Duties include but not limited to;

• Observe and report suspicious activities and persons

• Enforce rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and respond to emergency situations requiring security assistance

Qualifications for Security Professional:


• YOU DO NOT NEED A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE FOR THIS POSITION.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid Guard Permit or the ability to obtain one!
• Must Have a High School Diploma or a GED
• Pass a Drug and Background Check.

Must possess a valid California Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS) Guard License, or have applied and subsequently be issued such a license prior to employment. As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background investigation and a post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test. Additionally, as a condition of continued employment, employee must maintain current active status of BSIS Guard License at all times, and must carry the license at all times while on duty. Must have a Valid Driver’s License and be driving approved; as you will utilize the company vehicle for site visits. DMV Driving Record must be clean for the last three (3) years. Please bring a current DMV Print Out date within the last thirty (30) days to the interview.
