Job: PM Service Worker

Forest Home operates three distinct Christian camp sites in Southern California: MILL CREEK CANYON, THE WOODLANDS and OJAI VALLEY. Each site is a year-round, interdenominational, non-profit ministry serving 144 programs to 40 denominations and over 50,000 men, women and children annually.

Mill Creek Canyon and the Woodlands are only 90 minutes from L.A., this scenic and historical 500 acre center rests a mile high in a valley of two 10,000 foot mountain peaks and is recognized as being a place where God moves.

Would you like to be apart of one the most dynamic ministry teams? If so, we are currently looking for a Night Service Worker who can perform all duties related to the night shift, with the highest guest experience in mind.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Performs all incoming buildings and grounds service calls on the night shift – including maintenance repairs, animal, and security calls.

Operates maintenance equipment and uses material in accordance to factory specifications and training.

Assists in snow removal as needed, including operating the snow plow, gravel truck, and shoveling snow.

Assists in maintaining vehicles, including checking all fluids and reporting any damage and/or repair needs.

Lifts or move heavy furniture or equipment as required.

Keeps the workroom and all work areas in a neat and orderly state and keeps track of small equipment needing repair.

Maintains and repairs vacuums and small equipment.

Supports and participates in staff spiritual life activities.

Performs other duties as assigned.

High School diploma or equivalent.

Experience in maintenance a plus.

Available to work flexible hours, including weekends.

Able to work overtime.

Has reliable means of transportation to get to Forest Home in all types of weather conditions.

Demonstrates the ability to perform high quality work.

Able to accomplish assigned projects utilizing strong communication and collaboration skills.

Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

Regular, timely attendance.
