Under the direction of the Assistant Clinic Regional Manager, the Medication Support Quality Assurance Specialist will work to ensure that all medication support chart documentation is accurate and in compliance with Department of Mental Health (D.M.H.) standards. In conjunction with the Assistant Clinic Regional Manager, the Medication Support Quality Assurance Specialist will assist with ensuring the quality improvement in the medication support department and clinic program by conducting chart audits and making sure that corrections are made in a timely manner. The Medication Support Quality Assurance Specialist will also assist with running task/needs reports, reviewing cycle documentation, tracking resubmissions and gathering statistical information as needed/requested.

Skills / Requirements

A Bachelor of Arts degree plus 1 year experience related to DMH documentation and/or maintaining charts in a clinic setting;
Intermediate computer knowledge of Microsoft Word or Excel, and Outlook;
Ability to work as part of a team under the direct supervision of the QI Supervisor;
Ability to interact professionally with all Penny Lane staff;
Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing;
Ability to perform multi task requirements related to business needs;
Knowledge of Department of Mental Health paperwork preferred;
Attends meetings in the community as requested by Q.I. Supervisor or Assistant Clinic Regional Manager;
Must have current, valid CA driver‚s license, current automobile insurance and must maintain a clean driving record;
