Project Manager
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with deep knowledge and management experience in renovation to oversee various aspects of redevelopment and construction of apartment interior renovation projects.
Responsibilities:
Oversees on-site daily activities and conduct project meetings to discuss problems, progress, and coordination of work.
Provide daily and weekly status of work
Direct vendors, contractors and sub-contractors to assure timely renovation execution and quality of work. Monitor contractors work to assure all work follows plan, contract, scope of work, etc.
Act as liaison with Operations staff with renovation activity and contractors.
Talk with city inspectors and city officials to ensure renovations meet city and local code standards.
Qualifications:
Candidates should have a minimum of 10 years experience as project manager working on multi-family renovation.
Past knowledge/experience with plumbing repipes, washer & dryer installs, and other plumbing related work a big plus.
Must have experience collecting bids, setting up budgets on spreadsheets, sizing up jobs, defining scope of work on MS Word and getting permits with the city.
