Human Resource (HR) Manager

This position is responsible for the effective management of all Human Resource (HR) programs, including employee relations, training, recruiting, payroll and benefits administration. This position reports to the President.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain an on-going compensation program
  • Ensure employee benefit plans are in line with management philosophy, address employee needs, and meet regulatory and budget constraints
  • Provide day-to-day assistance with benefits, compensation, employee relations, organizational development/training, payroll, recruiting and safety
  • Counsel management on the short and long-term HR implications of business actions
  • Provide guidance to employees/supervisors on performance improvement issues
  • Process payroll each pay period
  • Process Company’s Salary Saving Plan bi-monthly contribution
  • Lead the Safety Committee and ensure compliance with all OSHA and state Safety regulations
  • Manage and oversee facility security resources (alarm system, key Pads, security cameras, etc.)
  • Serve as primary liaison with Information Technology vendors
  • Ensure HR meets AS9100 compliance

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 7 years of progressively responsible experience in Human Resources or related field
  • Expert understanding of general business practices and concepts
  • Intermediate computer skills, familiar with common tasks within MS Office Suite
