As the only manufacturer to make digital monitoring standard on every process pump, ITT Goulds Pumps continues to lead the industry in both mechanical pump design and the adoption of smart technologies.  This position is for a Sales Representative in California selling engineered pumping equipment and services for consistent growth in orders and revenues of ITT Goulds Pumps Industrial Process. This is accomplished through development of new and existing end-user customers within the territory. This role is responsible for sales planning and achieving an annual sales forecast by meeting growth targets for a set territory.  Essential duties of this role include, but are not limited to: 

- Develop customers for increased portfolio sales by consultative selling and solution selling in an effort to meet all territory forecast and growth objectives.  

- Establish a positive personal relationship with key buying influences at target accounts.  
- Make sales presentations to customers demonstrating our capabilities.  
- Establish and maintain VBCE account plans for the territory.  
- Maintain an E-Quote Log on all open quotes in the territory.    
- Communicate to Sales Management via a monthly report on competitor information, customer needs, market conditions, issues, successes and sales efforts.    
- Be available for customer visits to the PRO Services center.

Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree and 5 years related experience or combination of education & experience. 

Previous experience selling services to the rotating equipment market.  Mechanical aptitude and interest in mechanical equipment; training in assembly, disassembly, troubleshooting of pumps; experience in paper mill, chemical, oil & gas, or utility plants. 

Display high degree of independence, requires little management guidance to meet objectives.
