Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for an Electronic Technician 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Manhattan Beach, CA.
The selected candidate will primarily support test and checkout of flight level electronic hardware, in a production environment.
- Perform test and checkout of assembly, circuit card, slice, and unit level hardware
- May require test of experimental design circuitry, prototype models, or specialized test equipment
- Must be able to work from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal direction, layouts, or defined test plans
- Should be capable of conducting tests and collecting data, using standard test equipment; such as spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, DVMs, and signal generators.
- Should be able to work various shifts
The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, collaborative/team settings across all levels. Candidate must be comfortable in a lab environment and be able to collaborate closely with system engineers, hardware designers, test engineers, and various technicians.
High school diploma or equivalent and 2 years additional education and/or related experience in electronic testing.
Associate of Science Degree in Electronic Technology or equivalent.
3 years of electronic test experience, in a space flight hardware environment.
The ability to obtain DOD, Top Secret, or SCI clearance
Thorough Knowledge of Solumina, and the ability to process Discrepancy Reports, in order to facilitate hardware troubleshooting activities
