Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems sector is seeking an Industrial Security Analyst to join our team of qualified and diverse individuals at our Redondo Beach, CA facility. The security professional must be able to adapt to a fast paced and challenging work environment and must demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills. The desired candidate will oversee the day- to-day security functions of two Special Access Programs (SAP). Individual will be responsible for all aspects of program security with special emphasis on Personnel Security, Indoctrinations and Debriefings, SOPs, and coordination with customers PSOs. Individual must be willing to work with limited supervision and have the ability to make sound decisions, take independent action, analyze problems and provide focused solutions .The candidate will be responsible for the preparation of manuals outlining regulations and establishing procedures for handling, storing, and maintenance of records and for granting personnel and visitors' access to restricted records and materials. Other responsibilities include conducting security education classes and security audits, investigating security violations and preparing reports detailing preventive and corrective actions. The successful candidate must have an in-depth understanding of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), Joint Air Force, Army, Navy (JAFAN) manuals, SAP Volumes 1-4, and program specific guides and Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS). To ensure program success the candidate must be able to work closely with program managers and other domestic defense industry partners.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate and administer security program IAW DD254
Ensure adherence to all Federal Security regulations (DoD Volumes, NISPOM, etc.)
Responsible for accurate data input into an access control database
Maintain document control inventories
Reconcile multiple databases for accuracy
Provide briefings/debriefings to personnel for activities such as: new hires, terminations, foreign defensive travel
Support annual Self-inspection
Coordinate escort activities within area
· High School Diploma or GED
· Must be a US Citizen
· Must have an active Top Secret clearance
· Minimum of 3 of years of experience with JAFAN and NISPOM
· Special Access Program (SAP) experience
