Northrop GrummanAerospace Systems has an opening for a Manager, Project Management Level 2 tojoin our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be locatedin Palmdale, CA.


This position will report to theAS PM Homeroom Program Operations Director but takes day to day direction fromthe B-2 Enterprise Program Integration Team Director.  This position oversees and manages ongoingprojects and serves as liaison between program management and thefunctions.  Reviews status of projectsand budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports; ensure the programintegrators are properly executing enterprise processes;  identifies deficiencies and implementsupdates to the enterprise processes, manages staffing planning and resourcefulfillment for the program, leads the recurring strategic rhythm andoperations for the program, and assesses enterprise project risk, issues, andopportunities to develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, goals andobjectives.


This position is also responsible for direct line of leadershipfor a team of project managers to include performance management, staffing,career development/planning and engagement.

Basic Qualifications: 
  • Must have a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree and 5 years' experience in program integration
  • Proven communication and leadership skills
  • Active DoD Secret clearance and ability to be granted and maintain special program access 
  • Experience in working with subcontractors and customers at all levels
  • Demonstrated understanding of program risk, opportunity and issue management process
  • Demonstrated experience in program reporting

Preferred Qualifications: 
  • Master's Degree
  • B-2 Special Program Access
  • Experience managing a team in a dynamic work environment
  • Ability to develop relationships and operate in a collaborative team environment
