Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a Manager, Subcontract Administration 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Redondo Beach, CA.
The duties for this role will include direct supervision of staff, assigning work priorities, and work flow. You will provide direction to team to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures. You will work closely with IPT and GSC team (GSC PM, BM, PI, etc.) to ensure all aspects of the subcontract--costs, schedule, quality and technical performance are on track to support program requirements and commitments.
You will lead a team responsible for development of subcontract specifications and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and/or services. Your team will also require leadership in preparing bid packages, analyzing and evaluating proposals, negotiating subcontract provisions, selecting or recommending subcontractors, writing awards, and managing resulting subcontracts. You will be required to communicate status/issue resolution to IPT/Program leadership using both effective written and verbal communication.
5 years of Subcontracts/Supply Chain experience; 3 years of experience with a Master's degree
Prior experience in a leadership capacity
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Government contracting
Proposal experience to include source selection, SOW review, proposal valuation, price/cost analysis, and subcontract file due diligence requirements
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Strong knowledge of SAP, NG Command Media, and SAMS
Experience with International acquisitions
Negotiating experience with external suppliers
