Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems is seeking a Tool Engineering Manager, to lead and manage our team whose function is to design and/or manage supplier design and fabrication of tooling including dies, gauges, jigs, fixtures, and machine attachments required for production or experimental use, considering such factors as accessibility, economy, mobility, and performance requirements.
Responsible to manage a team of tool engineers, tool designers, and manufacturing analysts whose function is to design, plan, and manage the fabrication and installation of tools including but not limited to: statement of work breakdown, scheduling and material requirement identification.
Responsible to support and provide status to program and homeroom leadership.
- Bachelor's of Science STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) Degree.
- 5 years tool design, tool engineering, manufacturing engineering, integration and/or tool fabrication experience
- 2 years of leadership experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance and program access is required after hire
- 8 years tooling experience
- Current in-scope (within six years) DoD Secret clearance and Program Access.
- Experience with CAD software(NX/Catia)
- Automated equipment experience
