Product Analyst I

Purpose of Position:
The Product Analyst I (PA I) position is an entry-level position designed to introduce a Product Manager to the Word & Brown ecosystem of software applications and to gain an understanding of our approach to supporting software development, enhancement and maintenance.

The purpose of the PA I position is to develop expertise and experience on W&B software, provide tier-one troubleshooting and triage for our quote(s), perform backlog management, UAT support, deliver deployment announcements to impacted teams, and to attend evening deployments and support IT with post-deployment assessment.

Essential Functions:
• Responsible for support of new ORION and .NET initiatives including
Enhancements and Maintenance.
• Ensures projects and minor enhancements are completed with the least amount
of problems.
• Assists customers as first-tier support for application/quoting issues.
• Receives escalated issues and liaises with IT for the path to resolution.
• Oversees the backlog of the ORION and .NET product portfolio.
• Participates in daily scrum, sprint planning and the IT intake meetings; coming
prepared with approved Tickets for submission
• Creates Product Management Tickets, reviews them with appropriate team l
eadership and Product Management (PMD) leadership, obtains approvals
• Collaborates with IT’s Quality Assurance (QA) to ensure proper QA test planning
• Oversees and where necessary performs User Acceptance Testing on delivered
• Provides post-launch announcement communications to impacted teams for each
• Creates and distributes launch training emails with step-by-step instructions and
screenshots as needed.
• Performs webinars for training and demonstration.
• Attends or is available for evening deployments and post-deployment
• May be called upon for attending bi-weekly corporate meetings to provide
• Identifies and solves project issues effectively
• Performs other business tasks or functions as assigned
• On-site regular attendance and punctuality are essential functions of the job
• Work hours – 8:00 to 5:00 pm or as assigned or required

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic environment, excellent communication and
interpersonal skills, hardworking nature, excellent organizational, presentation
and customer skills, mathematical and team building ability
• Health industry knowledge is a plus.
• Experience with the Word & Brown ecosystem of software applications is a plus.
• Salesforce experience is a plus.

Educational Requirements:
High School Diploma required. Product Management experience and/or courses or some college coursework are a plus.
